Reiki Sessions

Reiki helps to relax the body from stress, chronic pain, emotional pain and helps the body to heal on its own. Reiki is a safe alternative treatment and can be used by anyone.  It is not a replacement for medical treatment, it can help relax the body so that the body can repair itself.

Reiki is an ancient Japanese medicine and has been around for about 2500 years and was developed by Mikao Usui.  The word Reiki translates to “Rei”- Spiritual or Universal and ‘Ki” means “universal life energy” Reiki is based on the theory that everything is made up of energy that flows.  When the life force energy is low, people can become stressed and sick. A person’s health is influenced by the flow of their energy through their body.  Every living thing needs energy and without energy, there is no life.

During the session the practitioner will focus on unblocking and or balancing the chakras and repairing any breaks that may be present.  The practitioner will also assist the client in working through any fight or flight feelings.

At Holistic Haven we have seen great results with Reiki and have had great feedback from our customers regarding reduced pain, stress and anxiety.  Once their bodies have been regulated, their bodies were able to heal.

Often after a session there is  an immediate feeling of being recharged and balanced. Feelings of calmness and uplifted mood.

Sessions range from 45-90 minutes.  Targeted sessions are also available.  Focus is placed on the area of concern only.
